Founded in 2020, Punch Art ASBL aims to make art and culture accessible to all through LGBTQIA+ themes. With an intersectional approach, the association raises awareness about human rights and social cohesion, and fosters solidarity, mutual support, and cooperation by encouraging well-being, self-expression, creativity, and the development of everyone’s talents.
The non-profit offers Queer improvisation coaching. And in September 2021, the inclusive and LGBTQIA+ jazz choir PUNCH ART CHOIR was born — a space where everyone’s voice resonates with joy, sharing… and swing, of course!
Since our very beginning, we’ve been driven by a simple but powerful desire: to sing together in a safe space for all, highlighting diversity, gender equality, and LGBTQIA+ rights through our repertoire, our choir composition, and the performances and actions we lead each year.
